Umpires are responsible for ensuring games are played fairly, safely, and according to league rules. They make calls on balls, strikes, outs, and plays in the field while maintaining a professional and respectful environment for players, coaches, and fans. The St. Louis Softball League does NOT tolerate arguing or disrespectful behavior towards any umpire.

We are currently seeking umpires for the the 2026 Spring/Summer/Fall Sessions.
Whether you're a seasoned official or looking to get started in officiating, we welcome reliable, enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about the game.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of slow pitch softball rules
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Availability on game days/evenings
- Ability to work outdoors
- Training is available for new umpires.
- Competitive pay per game.
